Il barattolo Nutella è forse uno dei più riconoscibili. Se lo cerchiamo al supermercato anche in mezzo a decine di creme spalmabili quell’etichetta bianca e il barattolo svasato ci si parano davanti agli occhi, come se a sua volta ci stesse cercando.
La verità è che l’aspetto del barattolo è cambiato molto spesso nel corso del tempo: la fetta di pane sull’etichetta negli anni ‘80 era tenuta da una mano e la versione con il coltello è stata modificata svariate volte. Inoltre negli ultimi anni si sono susseguite etichette commemorative o legate a festività e altre campagne dell’azienda. Una tra le più riuscite e ricordate è forse quella del 2015, con i nomi al posto del logo, a ricordarci che nel corso degli anni potremmo essere chiamati in tanti modi diversi, da "quattrocchi" ad "amore", ma per Nutella rimarremo sempre Davide, Stefano o Federica. C’è stato un tempo in cui anche Nutella ha avuto un altro nome, bensì “Supercrema” e il barattolo in cui era venduta appariva diversissimo da quello che tutti noi conosciamo oggi. Qui Nanni Moretti, nei panni del suo alter ego Michele Apicella, che spalma la Nutella su una grossa fetta di pane attingendola da un barattolo alto un metro.
La celebre scena in cui Nanni affoga le sue sofferenze amorose e la sua frustrazione è tratta da Bianca, uscito nel 1984.
Già all’epoca tra la Nutella e gli italiani si era creato un forte legame affettivo: fin dall’infanzia la crema spalmabile è insieme trasgressione e consolazione, un dolce irresistibile che quasi tutti da bambini abbiamo mangiato di nascosto dalla mamma, a cucchiaiate, e che quasi tutti, una volta adulti, abbiamo usato come rimedio per la tristezza.
Di fronte alla Nutella torniamo tutti come la prima volta che l’abbiamo assaggiata. Sta qui il potere della Nutella, nella capacità di essere parte integrante dei nostri ricordi e farceli rivivere ad ogni assaggio. This Red Dot prize-winning exhibition, created by EMOTIONplanning for @busanaircruise, explores the difference between privatised memories of an individual and reality. Arranged in a spiral, the public art installation “Moment Capsule” is made of stacked transparent boxes. They store time capsules which have individual coordinates, so that people remember where they placed them as memories begin to change, transform and distort from the very moment they are remembered.

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPNaturalLight
This weekend the challenge is to make images and videos that are illuminated with natural light, as in this photo from Hiroki ().
Start with the light source. Sunlight, moonlight or even starlight set the tone for different images, whether a landscape under the star-filled sky or a beach scene on a bright sunny day. More abstract effects of light can be found in rainbow light or a mass of fireflies dancing in the dark.
Scout your location. Look for places where light has a more dramatic effect, whether coming in shards through trees in a forest, bouncing off of a reflective building, glistening on the surface of a lake or pool, or simply coming through a window to add shape and contrast to your subject.
Time it right. Think about the time of day and how the quality of light affects your subject or scene. Whether the soft hazy light at dawn, the hard shadows of the midday sun or the colors at sunset, use these qualities of light to set the mood and atmosphere of your images or video.

Having a message you believe in is of huge importance to your business - but thats not enough to guarantee success.
For your message to really make a difference it has to create a need.
It has to inspire action or in some form change someones state.

You achieve this through emotion. .
To truly connect with people your brands message has to contain a G.E.M. (A Genuine Emotional Motivation).
A genuine belief that motivates you along your journey and will engage your audience on an emotional level, allowing them to better understand and care for the cause that you are championing.

Your brands G.E.M. creates a sense of belief that inspires people to believe their is a genuine needed for your solution.

Simply telling people what you do doesn’t create a need. Not one is going to really care.

What you brand does is going to offer a product or service - which is great.
But that doesn’t make people feel like they need what it is you offer.

The need does not come for what you do, it doesn’t come from how you do it
The need will come by how you explain why you do what you do.

When you do that you start to capture peoples attention, you spark an emotive reaction, you inspire them to believe in why you are doing what you do. And that there is a need for you to do what you do.

Never underestimate the power of creating consistent, high quality content. Its represents so much more about you and your brand.
