Yesterday I gave you an exercise to create rotation in your spine 
Today we’ll look at driving flexion and extension through your spine

A coordinated exercise, and can take time to get right, but over time this exercise will help to drive more movement through your neck, and upper and lower back, helping with back ache, stiffness and tightness 
How to do it: 
Start off in a box position (on all fours) 
Tilt your pelvis forward, rotate your elbows in and close to your body, bring your shoulders (scapulars) down and away from your ears and look up to the ceiling

Then, transition into rotating your elbows out, pushing your back to the ceiling and tilting your pelvis back tucking your chin to your chest

2 movements that create plenty of flexion and extension in the back

I never normal have cereal for breakfast but today’s choice was 3 weetabix pieces with yogurt and banana😋(with oat milk ofc)

Weetabix is one of the only cereals that isn’t packed with sugar and chemicals like some sweet treat cereals are, it’s also with wholegrain/wheat bran type stuff so that shiz is HEALTHY, so if you’re opting for a filling low cal cereal, weetabix is where it’s at (3 pieces was only 204 cals!!)😉

WHICH IS BETTER?

Spoiler: It’s not the one that’s the most common.

One is focused on short-term results and the other is focused on sustainability and long-term success.

One gets quick results but gains it back just as quickly and the other gets slow results but keeps the weight off.

One uses and all-or-nothing approach and the other uses frequency and consistency over intensity.

I'm not here to tell you which one to choose, but I can tell you which can avoid gaining and losing the same 10 to 30 pounds in a vicous cycle of yo-yo dieting and which one will be easy to maintain a lean and healthy body because you took the time to build systems and habits.

I hope it’s obvious by now which one is better.

When two roads diverge in a wood, take the one less traveled by, and that will make all the difference.

The same can be said for nutrition, people inherit the "All-or-Nothing" mentality and try to eat the most perfect diet they can think of and will only last for at best a couple of weeks.

There is a vast difference between your “diet” and “dieting”

Your diet simply compromises of foods you eat, whereas when you’re “dieting” your putting yourself into a caloric deficit in attempt to lose fat.

I talk a lot about #dieting but today i just want to show you what a day in the life of someone’s diet may look like with the goal of weight management ( maintenance) .

Maintenance is great for people who are either looking to recomposition their body ( grow and drop fat simultaneously - yes IT CAN BE DONE) or for someone who is happy where they are at and looking to just go about their life and maintain!

Filling your day with 80-90% whole foods in always key to optimising your health and making sure you’re covering your micronutrients too!
.
The thing I love most about tracking my intake is the freedom of choice and non restriction you can have , if having a chocolate bar a day keeps you compliant and stops you binging then eat the damn chocolate bar 🍫 .
.
What happens when you eat a chocolate bar a day? Not much , about 120-200 calories . So as long as you’re sticking to your overall macronutrient and caloric goal enjoy foods here and there that you want !

Protein Porridge 🥣

Chicken 🍗 wild rice 🍚 green beans and gravy

Dinner Last night 😍

You know what’s awesome about planing out your meals it helps you stick to your goals 💪🏻

stuck to my water and had awesome conversation 
Could have easily ordered a meal ate along with them but what helped me even more was that I was surrounded by people who supported me.

I’m no women, and I’m no pregnancy expert, but I’m pretty sure that when you’ve got a baby inside you, the feeling of bloatedness and nausea are pretty natural affects during pregnancy 
It’s definitely what I felt when my wife was preggers 😂
